Celebrating 15 years of turning hope into action

Since 2010, Greenpop has evolved from a small urban greening project into a globally recognised environmental organisation. In 2026, our inaugural Gala provides an opportunity to celebrate our impact to date and secure the future of our movement. Funds raised this evening will be dedicated to building our internal resilience: the people, technology, and systems required to scale our work. By joining us, you aren't just attending an inspiring event; you are providing the foundation for our next decade of growth and impact across the continent.

Our auction catalogue

Our full catalogue (coming soon) will include a diverse collection of artworks, bespoke design, and rare experiences. From the Art for a Living Legacy Collection curated with Everard Read, to high-end travel and limited-edition design, every lot is a contribution to our next decade of impact.

We’re delighted to share a glimpse of just a few of the exceptional lots confirmed for the auction:

An artwork by Wilma Cruise

A renowned South African sculptor and visual artist known for her expressive life‑sized figures in fired clay and bronze that often explore the relationships and communication between humans and animals. Her work engages with existential themes and is represented in public, corporate and private collections across South Africa and internationally.

An artwork by Beezy Bailey

A prominent South African multidisciplinary artist whose practice includes painting, sculpture, drawing, printmaking and ceramics. His work often reflects on humanity’s relationship with the world and can be seen to engage with ideas around the Anthropocene. His pieces are held in major collections, including the David Bowie Art Collection, the Getty Family Collection and the Oppenheimer Art Collection.

An artwork by Tafadzwa Tega

A Zimbabwean‑born artist whose socio‑political portraits draw on themes of migration, resilience and the diasporic experience. Based in Cape Town, his work has been exhibited in South Africa and internationally, and is held in prominent private collections.

Rovos Rail Safari Journey

Alongside these artworks, guests will have the opportunity to bid on an extraordinary Rovos Rail Durban Safari Journey for two, travelling in a Deluxe Suite - a timeless luxury experience capturing the romance of classic rail travel through Africa’s most beautiful landscapes.
