Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Misha is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Director of Greenpop. Since co-founding the organisation in 2010, he has driven its mission to connect people with nature and restore ecosystems across Sub-Saharan Africa. He is the principal visionary behind Greenpop's unique blend of large-scale environmental action, celebratory events, and community mobilisation. As CEO, he focuses on defining the long-term strategic direction, securing major partnerships, and amplifying the organisation's voice globally. Misha is recognized for his leadership as a YALI Fellow, a Mail & Guardian Top 200 Young South African, and TEDx Speaker. He lives in Greyton with his wife, Lauren, and their two children.
Lauren Teasdale
Co-founder and Chief Financial Officer
Lauren Teasdale is the Co-Founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Greenpop, responsible for driving the organisation’s financial stability, sustainability, and operational integrity. With a background in Law (BA LLB) and Higher Education (PGCE), Lauren oversees all financial operations, legal compliance, and risk management. Throughout her career, Lauren has consistently built high-performing, collaborative teams and established strong strategic planning and reporting processes. She has also led through periods of rapid change ensuring both adaptive management and sustainable financial performance. In 2020, Lauren was awarded the Mail & Guardian Greening the Future Award. She lives in Greyton with her husband, Misha, and their two children.
Zoë Gauld-Angelucci
Chief Operating Officer
Zoë Gauld-Angelucci is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Greenpop, where she is responsible for overseeing the operational alignment and planning that transforms the organisation's vision into measurable impact. With over 12 years of experience in the NGO sector, Zoë ensures that all major initiatives—from large-scale forest restoration and urban greening to environmental education, events, and consulting—are executed efficiently and amplify Greenpop's mission. Her work is informed by an MPhil in Development Studies from the University of Cape Town, where her thesis focused on the social impacts of urban greening. She was honoured with the Mail & Guardian Greening the Future Award in 2021 and lives in Cape Town with her husband and two daughters.
