Company Culture

We’re really proud of our company culture. Here’s how we cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and highly-engaged working environment.

  • We are people first, employees second. We foster a warm, inclusive, family atmosphere. We know about each other's kids and hobbies. We truly care and always prioritise balance and well-being.
  • We value every voice. We hold full team vision sessions for every project to ensure diverse ideas are heard and empower decision-making in every role.
  • We celebrate our wins. Our elected Council of Awesome ensures we recognise milestones, share plenty of laughter, and enjoy three fun, full-team gatherings annually.
  • We nurture connection. We are a remote-first organisation, but we reinforce our collective bond with regular check-ins and an open-door policy, gathering often for in-person collaboration.

Our Cape Town Field Office

Beyond our daily, weekly, and monthly online huddles, we love to gather in person at our Field Office located within the vibrant Eco Education Hub in Woodstock. This isn't just a workspace; it's also our dedicated propagation area for the plants that bring life to our urban greening projects across Cape Town.

Our team members are welcome to work from this beautiful office anytime, enjoying the inspiring views or even getting their hands in the soil. It's a special spot where the Cape Town team comes together, and we warmly invite volunteers to join us there to help nurture our green future.
