Ready to plant by day and dance by night? To make sure your Reforest Fest experience is as seamless as possible, we’ve compiled a list of our most-asked questions below.
If you don't find what you're looking for, feel free to give us a shout!
No. Please note that booking a Luxury Bell Tent, other accommodation upgrade, or accommodation at Bodhi Khaya, does not include a festival ticket. You must purchase your festival ticket separately to gain entry. Your festival ticket does include a spot to camp if you bring your own equipment.
While our official policy for Reforest Fest 2026 is that tickets are non-refundable, we absolutely encourage you to pass your ticket on to a friend if you can no longer attend. Since we have moved to FIXR, you can safely use their Ticket Transfer feature to ensure the new holder's name is on our gate list.
You can do this via the FIXR Website (under 'Your Bookings') or the FIXR App (under 'Tickets'). Use the 'Transfer tickets to a friend' button to generate a unique link.
Note: This is for private sales only; you must arrange payment privately with the recipient.
It’s the Easter long-weekend, and we encourage everyone to join for the entirety of the weekend celebrations. However, we do offer exceptions for the Saturday tree planting day for locals or corporate groups.
Yes! We aim to make planting accessible for everyone. We have specific "Family Planting" zones that are closer to the main paths and have softer soil, making it easier for little hands and those who prefer less strenuous terrain.
Camping is only permitted in designated camping areas marked on the site map. To protect the land we are restoring, camping is strictly prohibited in sensitive zones like forests, arboretums, and dam edges.
To keep our festival grounds safe and maintain the tranquility of the site, Reforest Fest is a car-free camping zone. You will park in a designated parking area and walk your gear to your campsite or make use of the bag drop that can help transport your bags to General Camping. Although Camp and Park tickets are sold out, we have a limited amount of overflow parking for those with live-in vehicles. Please contact us to arrange this.
Yes, we provide limited hot showers for all campers but be prepared to queue at peak times. After the planting, we recommend a dip in the dam on the way back to the festival! You will be directed this way. Please be mindful of your water usage as we are in a water-conscious region!
Arrivals are from 12:00 - 21:00 on Friday, 3 April. If you plan on arriving after 21:00, please notify our Door Manager, Ray, at +27 83 825 3471 or production@greenpop.org.
No pets are permitted at the festival.
Swimming is only allowed in designated dam areas during specific times under lifeguard supervision. Children must always be accompanied by an adult near water.
Reforest Fest takes place rain or shine! In the case of unsafe conditions (heavy wind/rain), activities may be adapted or paused. Please come prepared for all weather. It can get especially cold at night.

We strive to be a Zero-Waste event. This means we ask you to bring a plate, cup, and cutlery with you to offer to the food stalls to serve your meals on, and ask you to wash them up in the basins provided. It’s a small step we can all make to reduce the amount of waste we produce. Thanks for your cooperation with this! Vendors will not be serving in disposable packaging and will ask you to go and buy a set from the Wellness Café should you not have.
Please use our marked waste stations for recycling, compost, and landfill. If you’re unsure, our waste team is there to help!

Absolutely! Children are very welcome. Please remember that this is a rugged outdoor environment; parents are responsible for supervising children at all times, especially near water and tools.
