Events

We believe that the best way to face the climate crisis is together, with our hands in the soil. Our events provide a space where music, art, and restoration collide to regrow the wild — bridging the gap between environmental necessity and cultural celebration.

Why we celebrate

Environmentalism shouldn’t be a lonely pursuit. We host immersive festivals and action days that turn individual concern into collective impact. By linking ecological restoration with creative culture, we help you find your tribe and your place in the movement to heal the planet.

An antidote to eco-anxiety

We are living through a period of unprecedented environmental change. Globally, over 2 billion hectares of land are currently degraded—an area larger than South America. This scale of loss has triggered a surge in eco-anxiety. According to a landmark study in The Lancet Planetary Health, 75% of young people find the future frightening, 56% believe that "humanity is doomed", and 45% report that climate anxiety affects their daily lives. The weight of the world can feel paralysing, but we believe that action is the antidote to despair. When we gather to plant, to learn, and to celebrate, we shift the narrative from anxiety to action. Our events provide a tangible way to push the world in the right direction, surrounded by a community that refuses to give up.

A global movement for restoration

Our events are a localised response to a global mandate. As an official partner of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration (2021-2030), Greenpop is helping to lead the Generation Restoration movement — a global effort to prevent, halt, and reverse the degradation of ecosystems worldwide.By joining our events, you aren't just attending a festival; you are joining an urgent global mission to restore our planet’s health and ensure a liveable future for all.

Our approach

We don't just host events; we facilitate collective action, learning and celebration. Our methodology is built on three essential pillars for long-term change:

Physical action

We do the hard work. From reforestation to clearing invasive species, our participants leave a permanent, positive footprint on the landscape.

Applied education

We educate for the future. Our workshops and talks empower people with the skills to live regeneratively long after the festival ends.

Cultural connection

We use music, art, and shared meals to nourish the spirit. We believe that if the movement isn't joyful, it isn't sustainable.

Our impact to date

Since our first Reforest Fest in 2011, our events have been the heartbeat of our movement. They represent thousands of hours of collective effort, showing that when we gather with purpose, we can change the landscape.
